September 5, 2010 I can't believe it's September - Labor Day is so late this
year! At any rate, this time next
week I will be in Murano, Italy waiting to take a glass workshop with Lucio Bubacco - probably have misspelled his name...
I am going with my beady-buddy Joy
- a fellow fire fox. Our group will spend
the first few days visiting various glass work shops and all kinds of glass related places. I hope to be able to chronicle
some of the trip on my blog (see above for the link.) But we will be back in plenty of time for the fall Bead Bonanza n October 10th!
July 24, 2010 Speaking of the Gathering in Rochester, New York, Joy and I will be
there next Saturday at the Bead Bazaar, table 25. I am excited! If you are there, come by and say "hi"! July 14, 2010 Back from a wonderful trip up north (Benzonia, MI) where I had my first kayak experience.
2 1/2 hours, I survived and have not had any real aches and pains from it. But a quick note that my beady-buddy Joy and I
will be at the ISBG Bead Bazzar in Rochester, NY on July 31. Come around and say "hi" to us.
Well, new "news". I have joined a co-op gallery, Lawrence Street Gallery at 22620 Woodward Ave # A
Ferndale MI 48220.
It was a tough decision and probably not
without reprisals... but I decided to take a chance for a year or so and see how it goes. I hope it is a good venue - I have better control on my work being
on display, please check out the gallery. It has some very talented members in the 2-D field.
